AECP was COAF’s key partner in the implementation of the Eye Care Screening and Treatment Project in 2004, 2006 and 2007.  Thousands of adults and children were screened; those with eye problems were referred to specialized clinics, and some underwent eye surgery. Health education seminars on eye care were also held, targeting the adult population of the cluster, including teachers, parents, and nurses.
